In keeping the Christmas spirit alive in Pack 118, please join us for our annual event of Christmas Caroling, Tuesday, December 9 at 6:45 pm. The event will be held at Allegro Senior Living, 4501 W. Shannon Lakes Drive. Uniform is Class “A.” If families would like to bring cookies or treats to distribute to the residents, please be aware that the facility ONLY allows store bought cookies in their original packaging. Printed songs will be distributed to the Scouts to sing.
Also, pinewood derby cars will be distributed at the end of the evening. Please join us.
The deadline for submitting completed Parvuli Dei and Light of Christ workbooks has been extended until Christmas Caroling at Allegro Senior Living. If you cannot attend, please make other arrangements with the pack’s coordinator, Robin Fennema or contact her by telephone at (850) 894-1304.
Our next pack meeting is Thursday, January 15 at 6:30 pm, Blessed Sacrament Parish Hall.
On the national level, Cub Scouts is undergoing several programmatic changes beginning with the 2015-2016 program year. Units across the country will be watching and learning about those changes as they are released by Boy Scouts of America, including new printings of the Cub Scout Handbooks expected in the first quarter of 2015. Pack 118 will attempt to keep you informed with links to various sources on our Resources page.
